Kate Bryant, LMT

Hello, my name is Kate Bryant and I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist in the state of Washington since 2005. I am originally from Bulgaria, where I received my Masters Degree in English and Japanese, and I also studied Traditional, Medical and Japanese Massage in 2004. When I came to the United States in 2003, I was inspired by my husband Dr. Randy Bryant, DC to learn more about alternative health care, chiropractic and massage. I was fascinated and exited about the possibility of helping people through natural and non-invasive care as massage and chiropractic. I attended Bellevue Massage School in 2004-2005 and after graduation I received national and state certification as a Licensed Massage Practitioner (LMP). Since my graduation, I've worked in chiropractic clinics in Bellevue as a full time Massage Therapist, specializing in injury treatment of patients involved in car accidents or suffering from various work injuries. Currently, I continue to do treatment work, while also expanding the range of my clients to include people with sports injuries, overuse injuries, chronic pain, relaxation and wellness massage, pregnant women and cancer patients. I am also a certified practitioner in "Massage for the childbearing year" - an advance training in prenatal massage, massage during labor and post-partum massage, and an "Infant Massage Educator" for parents since 2008. In 2012, I completed the "Labor Doula" training with Penny Simkin and a "Dancing For Birth" training with Stephanie Larson. I have years of experience in the treatment of automobile accident injuries, work injuries and athletic injuries, I perform a wide variety of techniques, applied depending on the client's condition, desired results, and/or specific injury. I combine Swedish and Deep Tissue massage with trigger point work, myofascial release, lymphatic drainage massage, Lypossage or Cupping Massage in my sessions, depending on the client's needs and preferences. I enjoy helping people of different age from babies, to moms, athletes, the elderly or cancer patients.
